Kinda feels like AR needs smart glasses to be adopted culturally before it has its moment. Thoughts?
- outside1234 7y agoYes - to me the real revolution in AR will happen when we can walk around the real world and have ambient intelligence and visualization without having to drag a bunch of crap around with our fingers. Nobody wants to do that. They just want to be more intelligent - automatically. The shopping experience is one of those, but to me, not anything like a killer app.
- lostmsu 7y agoI can see another use: if a phone could show a camera feed with directions overlaid on the street.
- dorkwood 7y agoGoogle already does this with "Live View".
- jayd16 7y agoI don't think it's a hardware issue as much as a content one. What no one seems to be working on is mass market content creation. YouTube and Twitch are built in user content. How can we get user generated AR content, to drives sales, to push hardware, to build a market for professional content.
