- em-bee 7y agodepends on your thread model. the main point though was that people make such statements without thinking of the potential consequences. the comment added nothing to the discussion (that's not my complaint, just an observation) and thus reveals personal information for no purpose. the risk may be small, minuscule even, but it is greater than zero and, that is the actual point, the risk is greater than the value that the comment adds to the discussion.
