Could you explain to us how a country's population size and overall diversity has any effect on a city's local transportation system? Because you skipped the part actually explaining how that is in any way relevant.
- microtherion 7y agoIn the US, it's not entirely baseless to speculate that wealthier residents perceive public transit as largely for the benefit of the lower classes, and sometimes block it in neighborhoods to keep out the riff-raff. In Switzerland, public transit is used by (demographically) everyone.
