I still remember getting BRL-CAD back in 1994 or so. I think they required mailing a written export control statement for people outside the US.
This software has quite a bit of history.

- justinsaccount 7y agoI had it around 1999, you had to mail(or fax?) the military to get access to the key the tarball was encrypted with.
