Wow... this is the absolute worst website I've ever seen. I love the spoken "WAIT!" sound they play for absolutely no reason. Yeah, that's the way to get conversions.
Please HNers, have higher standards when launching your own sites. There's many ways to make a quick buck online, but don't stoop to this level. Long term, I don't think its sustainable.
- paraschopra 16y agoJust FYI. This website has been in business for a couple of years now and makes good revenue. As I said in my other comment, such websites may not look "pretty" but they hook their intended audience well. I think there is a good lesson here. Don't design for yourself. Design for your users.
- nestlequ1k 16y agoThere's no good lesson here. I suspect you can scam people out of their money with all sorts of tactics. That doesn't mean its worth doing.
- paraschopra 16y agoI'm curious why you think it is a scam? Is it just the design?
- nestlequ1k 16y agoSeriously? Do you even read the websites of your clients? I quote: Discover the secrets over 5,537 visitors who stumbled on this website use to draw that "oh, wow" open-mouthed stare from females while their friends turn green with envy as they remove their shirt and uncover a clearly-defined set of jaw-dropping six pack abs. Magical exercise techniques that will make you have a six pack. It's the equivalent of selling sugar pills.
