I've lived most of my life in Texas. The Mexican immigrants here generally work as hard or harder than citizens, and they do hot dirty jobs that most Americans won't do. [edit] and the illegals work for less than legal pay because they have few options. They suck less from the government than the US citizens in the southern red states. I guarantee that the immigrants are not tearing the US apart.
