Whether or not we reach "The Singularity" doesn't matter much to me, I just want us to reach a point where there are hundreds of thousands of nanobots aiding our individual immune system along with preventing degradation of our internal organs, is that too much to ask? According to all the research we shouldn't be too far off from that, though probably not in my lifetime. Whether or not we reach an AI singularity doesn't matter to me, so long as we have our nanobots.
