- kennywinker 7y agoNot macbooks, mac pros - a much smaller market by unit size, with a much greater markup, so much easier to move to the US than most of their other products.
- baddox 7y agoAnd they were already manufacturing the previous generation of Mac Pro there since its introduction at the end of 2013. Presumably they will continue to use Flextronics for their American manufacturing of the new Mac Pro. Also, as far as I can tell, this American manufacturing and assembly relies on automation to an extreme extent.
