I'm very much against plugins as well, being able to reliably work on a vanilla vim install allows me to productive everywhere.
But yes, I do miss the multicursors I've learned to love on Sublime Text.
- Lio 7y agoI have try to be able to use both. e.g. I know how to set up a path and hit search for files but I find FZF to be better. I know how to use Netrw to show a file tree but I prefer the look of NerdTree. I also often use ctags for navigation but I'm using coc.vim plugins more and more to get code aware LFP features. Generally I try to avoid custom mappings though so I'm closer to vanilla vim when I need to be.
- dhagz 7y agoWho needs multicursors when you have macros?
