- conductr 7y agoI have been in a few respectful conversations with alternating views. Usually in their view, it’s men’s fault for sexualizing the female body. Just like if a 13 y/o girl it wearing “skimpy” clothes it’s adult men who are the perverts for sexualizing a child. Not saying I agree. But I’m also not pro slut shaming. I don’t think men can really turn this off. Like the kid thing; 1) relatively new and completely subjective concept that <18 is off limits (we’ve literally decided as society that peek fertility is off limits) (feel obligated to say I do agree with the decision in current society where mental maturity comes later) 2) men can and probably have sexualized every possible think, even something like a bee hive. It’s a major part of our brain and I’m not sure how these women just think we can turn off an instinct.
