Climate change has a very simple cause, CO2 emissions. Should stand to rain that the resolution can be similarly easy.
I for one, want to get past this so we can move on to fixing our society.
- yifanl 7y agoSimple doesn't mean easy, unfortunately. There's more than a few sources of CO2 emissions, and some of the significant ones arent even (directly) manmade.

- cardamomo 7y agoReining in emissions and fixing our society are not separate issues. The scale of the change needed to substantially reduce or eliminate CO2 and methane emissions is huge.
- LimKruscal 7y agoMaybe it is more complex to deal with the causes of CO2 emissions. Some places in the world like Africa, East Asian have numerous power plants emitting tons of CO2 to the air and there are no simple substitutes to them because of lack of budget. Also if simply enforce those countries to ban factories would cause a rising of unemployment.
