120 grand is not the norm for contractors in London. Glassdoor has London at 52k and Toronto at 44k. Rent in London is almost 50% higher than Toronto and the housing stock in London is awful. I am talking about full time salaried positions though which rarely break 80k in London (less than what I am currently making in Toronto). My last offer in London was a pathetic 45k.
