This only applies in places like the USA where college is expensive. In places where is not expensive, the barriers are much lower. Perseverance is important and can be measured, in part, by how people go about completing long term projects like getting a degree.
- vfc1 7y agoIt's not just the price of the tuition. For example, in Europe a lot of the tuition is very cheap, but if you don't live on the same city as the college is, many can't afford to pay to have a child to live for years in another city, plus pay the frequent trips home, and all the other expenses that come with it.
