Leaving California: Half of State’s Voters Have Been Considering This
- whenchamenia 7y agoCalifornians, please stay in your containment zone. /s As someone who once lived there, It is the only place I take pains to leave out. The perception of Californians to the rest of the country is quite poor. This genuinely suprised me at first, but now I tend to agree. Even the deep south was less racist and hateful, although they now bear the brunt of jokes about such topics, rather than seeing much needed support and education. People need to rediscover our beautiful country and remember the USA is not a monoculture. In the end, californians, like anyone else, are welcome where ever they may go if they leave what they left behind, and embrace what they have chosen as their new home. However, if you want to make my town like what you knew from cali, in looks, laws or attitude: stay home. The world is here to welcome you, not bend to you.
