Note: in France you pay MDs 35 for a visit, 16-ish of that is covered by social security, while a private security costing 50-ish/month covers the rest. I've always got a same day visit if I called before noon. Edit: I moved out 5 years ago, so the numbers might have inflated a tiny bit. But not much, knowing France.
