Regardless, plain ZFS should be used for Oracle ZFS. What we have is OpenZFS and various flavors of it like ZFS-on-Linux, ZFS/illumos, ZFS/FreeBSD. The things are going towards ZoL getting proclaimed as the OpenZFS.
