When was the last time a restaurant disclosed this arrangement to you?
- jetti 7y agoRestaurants are bound by labor laws that require minimum wages to be paid to employees. As far as I know, Doordash drivers are not employees but are independent contractors which means they aren't required to be paid minimum wage under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Since they aren't required to be paid minimum wage this situation is completely different than at a restaurant
