How does an employeee having hobbies and a family help with the survival of the company?
It seems that hiring people with a life outside of work could be in the active disinterest of squeezing the most work for the least pay out of the human resources that corporations feed on.

If you can’t code for 6 hours straight without ignoring the fact that a job change can have an incredible impact on all your life goals and personal relationships, why are you even a coder bro? This process is so weak, when I heard about it in 2013 I was like...why would I ever want to work at firebase?
