No one seems to be addressing the fact that these frames are just damn ugly. Luxottica, while a profiteering monopoly, at least has a zillion different styles.

Luxottica, while a profiteering monopoly, at least has a zillion different styles. And would you spoil the look of your $500 glasses with some clip on doodad?
