This is just Forbes blogspam of the original blog post: https://medium.com/@tedlivingston/moving-forward-boldly-with-kin-ec6290a6453 https://medium.com/@tedlivingston/moving-forward-boldly-with...
It was submitted to HN here, and I noted that it would be unlikely to get attention because of its title: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=21055034 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=21055034
HN's strict title rules encourage submitting blogspam that writes sensationalized titles like this (and it's even been dialed back now).

- jessaustin 7y agoMaybe my reading comprehension could improve, but somehow I didn't have the loud "SCAM!" alarm going off in my head the whole time I read the blog... unlike TFA. [EDIT]: Also, "Moving Forward Boldly"? That seems like it would be #2, right below "Our Incredible Journey" on the list of this-must-be-irony titles for startup failure posts.

- bdcravens 7y agoWhile terminating the app that gave them all of their tech credibility.
- imglorp 7y agoSounds like the margin on a chain and ICO is way higher than an app with all that pesky overhead like ... product.
- sova 7y agoYeah, they had better relaunch with a similar platform immediately, preferably slimmed down and not susceptible to gross stuff, or it will really go from product into vaporware which is a funny transition to say the least
