The "value" of a "bundle" service like Sky has been under scrutiny for some time - from the mandatory bundling of 300 crapware channels just so you pay for the one channel that shows anything worth seeing that people grew tired of, to the Netflix model, and now to the further Balkanisation of content that's ongoing with Prime, Disney, NowTV, etc.
It seems Sky has decided to invest in monetising those who remained above incentivising a return for those who cut the cable.
