I'm not sure how complicated GST software impacted someone's ability to feed and clothe ourselves. Most of the key laws in India do impact many people in India because it's a country with a huge population. Nowadays there is the talk of banning single-use-plastic in the country. Companies are likely to lose business and some people will be severely impacted. Does that mean we should continue to use that kind of plastic(which harms the environment)?
