- Clubber 7y agoYes, but you have to admit, the news doesn't really serve its intended purpose of speaking out against power. It seems more like a conduit that's pretending it's not.

- inetknght 7y agoNews' intended purpose isn't just about speaking out against power. It's about providing a means for people to obtain information about current events -- political, medical, whatever. It's supposed to help augment your education. You know, the same education which is thoroughly gutted in America.
