Is being young disqualifying for having strong opinions ?
- djsumdog 7y agoWhat about the Nayirah testimony? (Which proved later to be entirely false, and led the United States into the first Iraq war)
- c0nducktr 7y agoYou're saying that the nayirah testimony is reason to disqualify all young people from voicing their opinion?
- whamlastxmas 7y agoSomewhat, yeah. You're overwhelmingly a product of your parents opinions and you're largely doing what they tell you to do or allow you to do. Because of this, it just comes across as shallow. Greta complained about how she should be at school and was blaming the politicians. In reality it's her parents' fault she's not in school.
- theK 7y agoSorry mate but that point about complaints is completely wrong. A demonstration, whatever the type, is exactly that by definition. People interrupting their jobs because officials are not doing theirs well enough.
