One lesson I learn from this is to keep the way as clear as possible regarding intellectual and industrial property. A patent, when possible, might help to clear such type of issue. Though I agree that the execution is as important as the initial idea, if not more. There is also luck in play here by the coincidence to start this project with exclusive access to high ranked universities inducing an outstanding attraction. It is not sure that this was part of the idea and strategy proposed by the twins.
