Overall, a larger trackpad would have been nicer and the physical keys on top of the trackpad just feels like legacy and is the only ugly part of the laptop when it's open. Regarding the physical keys on top of the trackpad, these are actually for use together with the Trackpoint. I recommend giving it a chance for a couple days, you might like it.
