I am planning on making the shift soon (as soon as my MBP 2014 gives up) and the choice for me will most likely be between the X1 Carbon or the XPS 15. My wife bought a last generation MBP and it crashes every time she uses the webcam and is already experiencing issues with the butterfly keyboard.
- febin 7y agoI am concerned with the butterfly keyboard.
- draugadrotten 7y agoIn the office we have had to replace about 25% of all MBP butterfly keyboards. They wear down easily. The trackpads though... nothing better out there.
- justaguyhere 7y agoI am also planning to get a non Apple laptop, my macbook air is even more older than your MBP. Some more options : Fujitsu U939X and system76 ones
- fpaboim 7y agoThe hard drive from my MBP, which is soldered to the motherboard, just died. Will probably be ridiculously expensive to fix.. thinking of getting a razer blade, but i've heard they have quality issues too =\
