I've thought about this a lot, it's certainly something I want too. I think a case with a dial in each corner for shutter speed, ev compensation, aperture and iso would be enough for me to consider selling my camera. Perhaps they could even be customised? For now, being able to quickly set one of these values depending on the scene is very important to me - so I keep the camera going for now...
