At my current team you are not expected to show in the office as long as you are delivering results. You can take entire week off if you want. We have weekly in-person sync ups, makeshift scrum teams that form and break on a weekly basis, and people are usually on slack 24/7 sometimes working at evenings or weekends if they feel like it. Fwiw I'm probably working more then I usually would at 9 to 5 workplace, but realisation that the company is treating me like a grown up adult makes me happy. I can't imagine being back to my previous corporate work environment, even the thought of it fills me with dread.
