Ask YC: Have you scaled an ODBMS

I have been working with an ODBMS for python called Schevo (getschevo.org) I have fallen in love with it, and am going to use it in an upcoming project that will need some serious scaling - hopefully. Has anyone got experiences in scaling non-RDBMS datastores? Any thoughts?
