I think that distinction is strictly connotative. From pure definitions, human trafficking and "people smuggling" are synonymous.

- dymk 7y agoNo, the definition of human trafficking is usually for the purpose of forced labor, which a coyote does not do.
- paleotrope 7y agoThe coyote just delivers the people to the people that use them for forced labor.
