I can’t tell you why, but I know some of the anti-measures bank use and I can assure you that they are pretty sophisticated. However, all I have seen are security efforts to secure the network, not the banking interface of customers - which means, if someone has your name and passcode, they can access your account online. I bet they have something like IP address origin checks and nothing more.
