I am looking forward to having one less Python 2 dependency. Inkscape 1.0 only uses Python 3. Next up will be GIMP 3 as that will mean I no longer need GTK2 a dependency of unmaintained PyGTK. PyGTK also depends on python2-cairo and python2-gobject2 so I will finally be rid of Python 2 once and for all.
