That sounds great, may you please list out questions and I can try to answer them. (Yes I get heated and pissed off here on HN as I have been here for over a decade and there are tons of self righteous nerds on HN who think they are the big swinging dick in the room, regardless of the fact there are tech titans here as well, but I’ve built many a thing in Silicon Valley and my pedigree goes deep, I just don’t flaunt it with simple fucking downvotes) So ask away, please.

I'll add this to samstave's cause: I read something by Yoichi Shimatsu (a while back) that was along the same lines of what samstave originally posted. Shimatsu tied MIT and the pedo ring together through Nicholas Negroponte and Bernard Krisher. Didn't really believe it at the time. Yet in the light of 2019--after Saville, Rochdale, Epstein, and all of these CSAIL guys >>knowingly<< taking cash from a convicted pedophile sex trafficker--it all seems a hell of a lot more plausible. Then to read with shock and disbelief Lessig's mental gymnastics on the subject, or Stallman's pedantic quibbling about the Minsky situation, and it looks like even the "good guys" in our industry are devils. Perhaps Zuck and Thiel are the lesser evils?

      True, I couldn't read the OP's post. And yes, there's no shortage of f*cked up people in the world in positions of power who's actions affect the rest of us but we don't need an "army of Snowdens". No "army of Snowdens" will save us from ourselves. There is no master plan, no global conspiracy, no deep state or ancient secret society behind the scenes working toward some nefarious goal that only the select sinister few are privy to. In reality they're just a small minority of sociopaths and corrupt egomaniacal degenerates that gained power over the majority. Which is usually what motivates these type of people. The corrupt few rule the the rest of us because we allow it to happen.

        Most conspiracy theories are disinformation to spur people to action. Most "official" narratives coming out of our news organs and bureaucracies are disinformation to keep people pacified and complacent. To the cautious man, which is more dangerous?
