There is rarely 'due process' when it comes to private institutions hiring or firing. Are you advocating for the government to intervene on behalf of citizens before allowing a company to make a financial decision?
- noobermin 7y agoThis is an aside, but if you want my personal opinion, I wish workers had more power on their side in both hiring and firing (firing particularly). It need not take the form of the government intervening directly but regulation can't hurt.
- widowlark 7y agoI don't disagree with you - Most labor laws in this country are horribly skewed in favor of the employer
- shadowgovt 7y agoYou should seek to form a union at your place of employment. That's what they are for.
