Don't want to start a flamewar, I'll just say Kashmir issue is far more complex than you can imagine and talk of fundamental rights suppression is utterly nonsense. But let's not discuss it on HN. In the context of this thread and topic, Kashmir doesn't play any significant role in India's economy or growth story. Secondly, the troubled area is quite a small part of Jammu Kashmir state.
