When anybody tells you there are rules to venture capital — like it’s impossible to take on massive incumbents that have network effects — ignore them. The GitLab team is doing something phenomenal here.

- sytse 7y agoThank you! GitHub is unchallenged in open source but it turns out you can change all the people in one company to a new tool without much of a problem, especially if you can replace 10 other tools.
