If you feel you're doing all three of those categories reasonably well, and there just are no open roles to advance in your company, what do you do? Does an MBA help you "level up" in the eyes of HR etc.?
- thinkingkong 7y agoYour feeling of how youre doing isnt the goal in these circumstances. You get promoted based on the opinions of 3 separate groups the least weighted is your own.
- majormajor 7y agoIf there are no open roles, and MBA won't open those roles for you. If advancement is your primary goal in that case, you need to find the open roles at other companies. An MBA may be a positive for that, it depends on the desired sort of role/destination.
