So the cost of an apartment is $4000 and medium income for new employees is $10000 according to the article.
Am I missing something - that seems more affordable than most major metropolitan areas. With two incomes that would be more than enough.

- ksec 7y agoI could bet $4000 ( $510 USD ) that it is not 100-200 Sq. Feet. $4000 tends to get you Sub 100 Sq Feet Space.
- tannhauser23 7y agoIt's the cost of a bed in a subdivided apartment, not an apartment itself.
- xwolfi 7y agoThe numbers you cite are in Hong Kong dollar, so 400 USD for an extremely small flat with no windows, and 1000 USD income, which really is not much when you factor basic necessities.
