(al-)Quds is just the Arabic name for Jerusalem.
- dotancohen 7y agoQuds means "holy", the Arabic name for Jerusalem is "The holy". Other things can be holy, and the name Quds applies to them as well.
- AnimalMuppet 7y agoLovely. "The Holy Missile". "The Holy Hand Grenade" was comedy in a movie. "The Holy Missile" in real life? Not so funny.
