Epstein was serving his jail sentence in Florida on that date. Miley Cyrus sweet 16 was 3,000 miles away in California. The picture is also fake."
- m0zg 7y agoCould someone explain why Ghislaine Maxwell is not under scrutiny? I thought it was pretty well established she was at the very least an accessory, if not herself a perpetrator. I'm sure there are dozens, if not hundreds of others, but she seems like such an obvious next target, I'm at a loss why she's not being detained and questioned.

- jazzyjackson 7y agoShe also hasn’t been seen since, IIRC, the Inn&Out burger photo was a forgery The book she was supposedly reading was titled “the secret lives and deaths of CIA operatives” (tho you can’t see the book in the face swapped photo, so this book suggestion is from an anonymous source to the New York Post) https://www.newyorker.com/culture/annals-of-appearances/the-gall-of-ghislaine-maxwell https://www.newyorker.com/culture/annals-of-appearances/the-... So if you ask me she’s an intelligence operative who is now dead Edit: the source was her attorney, I’d be questioning them, your point stands ! https://www.businessinsider.com/ghislaine-maxwell-in-n-out-burger-photo-staged-attorney-report-2019-8 https://www.businessinsider.com/ghislaine-maxwell-in-n-out-b...
- jillesvangurp 7y agoShe might not be in the US right now and given connections between her, Epstein and Prince Andrew, the UK is likely to be very interested in not having her talking about that in public. Them and a wide range of powerful people associated with Epstein. For the same reason, Epstein's death is extremely convenient whether or not he arranged that himself is probably never going to be cleared up. So, I'd assume she's hiding somewhere and maybe doing something clever like writing some memoirs to be locked up in a safe in case something happens to her.
- tyingq 7y agoMy guess is that she found some place that might not extradite her. Perusing the list of countries without US extradition treaties, if I were wealthy, I'd look at Vietnam or Montenegro as the most comfortable spots. Not that either couldn't extradite, but wealth goes a long way.
- m0zg 7y agoI guess it also helps that those implicated in the Epstein scandal very much don't want her extradited. I would not be surprised if she also "commits suicide" within a year.
- tus88 7y ago> In August, he was found dead while in federal custody. Interesting choice of words.
- DanBC 7y agoNot sure about the US but in the UK newspapers avoid the word suicide because that's a conclusion reached by coroners, and the paper is normally reporting the death before the coroner's inquest has happened.
