ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED is Chrome's DNS Timeout. The same error will occur if you navigate to a webpage without an internet connection.
- pyre 16y agoUnfortunately this is true of 'localhost' when you have no internet connection if you don't pass the '--enable-ipv6' flag to Chrome. Oddly enough it also happens for 127.0.0.1, which it shouldn't be doing DNS lookup for at all.
