- njn 7y agorms comes from the old macho male programmer culture of, “logic and reason over all else”. The original hacker mindset of, “this is a meritocracy, and everyone who happens to be into programming is white and male. And there’s no problem with that.” Eric S Raymond is the same way, but much, much worse. I don’t give him a pass, cause he has no clear vision or morality. He’s just a self-aggrandizing loser.
