You didn't get fired. You left a startup that was shutting down, you had 2 weeks notice left and they let you go early. Unless they have documented instances of poor performance they can't really give you a bad reference. Also if there's severance pay that they're not paying because they stand by 'poor performance' they're probably asking illegally.
