Worse still you'll be 10s of thousands of dollars in debt where anyone from a third world country with access to a computer can connect to the internet and do your job for a fraction of the cost. CS degrees are a hazing ritual that keeps CS professors and fat cat administrators employed.

- pjmlp 7y agoMost state universities across European countries, where students get partially supported via our taxes, to the benefit of all.
- dnate 7y agoAcross the EU most universities have tuition costs of <$100 per month. The bulk of that usually goes to a public transport ticket. For people who can't afford that, there are usually some forms of getting it for free. Higher education really shouldn't be a matter of personal finances.
