- vecter 7y agoUFOs are literally just Unidentified Flying Objects. Doesn't mean that they're alien in origin (and in fact, they're almost certainly not).

- brlewis 7y agoOK let me see if I understand the chain of inference here. The government has been studying UFOs for 7 decades ==> The government has learned something ==> The government has acquired alien technology I'm mostly with you on that first arrow, but you lost me on the 2nd.
- typeformer 7y agoI believe the last 2 points because I don't believe that credible military personnel with long and distinguished careers, would tarnish their reputations terribly for no apparent gain, especially near the end of their lives. Check out Philip J Corso or Robert Salas, but there are , many, many others who have blown the whistle including Walter Haut the public affairs officer during the Roswell crash (and recovery). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Day_After_Roswell https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Day_After_Roswell https://www.disclose.tv/capt-robert-salas-ufos-shut-down-nuclear-missiles-315252 https://www.disclose.tv/capt-robert-salas-ufos-shut-down-nuc... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Haut https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Haut
- anyfoo 7y agoI don't know, certain end of life seems to be the perfect opportunity to publish all that fantastic evidence that would mark the most important distinguishable moment for humanity as a whole so far.
- typeformer 7y agoJust because they were there doesn't mean they the have evidence
- rossdavidh 7y ago"You don't study something closely for 7 decades and not learn anything..." I do believe that any qualified historian of science could point out to you topics in linguistics (origin of language), psychology (nature of consciousness), astrophysics (what's inside a black hole, if anything), and many other topics where more than 7 decades have gone by, with lots of smart people studying a topic, and yet at the end of that much time practically nothing has been learned.
