I think that's the least of the worries. If oil runs out it has the potential to cause a massive upheaval in the Islamic world with can have dire consequences for the entire world.
- smacktoward 7y agoWith their support for things like Wahhabism, the blockade of Qatar and the war in Yemen, the Saudis are doing pretty well at causing upheaval in the Islamic world even while the oil still flows.
- yumraj 7y agoYes, but it is still somewhat centrally controlled. I was referring to the fragmentation that will happen in the post-oil world and what it will do.
