If the taxi service is free, there will be no fares, and no incentive to drive faster.
- majewsky 7y agoThere would still be incentive to drive faster. Given that the service has a fixed income side, the only way to optimize its profitability is getting the expense side down. Driving faster to make more tours with less cars is the most obvious way to do this, therefore drivers will be incentivized to go faster.
