In the absence of support in the stdlib, is https://github.com/alvinlindstam/grapheme https://github.com/alvinlindstam/grapheme the best to use?
- sciyoshi 7y agoI would highly recommend getting to know https://github.com/ovalhub/pyicu https://github.com/ovalhub/pyicu, which in addition to counting grapheme clusters with BreakIterator can also do things like normalisation, transliteration, and anything else you might need to do relating to Unicode.
