How many years did the security workers get in jail? In my country that would be quite a few for "intent to cause grievous bodily harm"
- 420codebro 7y agoIt is all relative. Once you trespass in the USA you pretty much have only one right: the right to get proper fucked.
- SomeOldThrow 7y agoThey were likely hired by the government to do just this. Nothing is more American than the rich tradition of profiting off the destruction of irreplaceable culture, natural resources, and public spaces.
- whatthesmack 7y agoOr, you know, just protecting property by any legal means necessary against people who were there illegally, and enforcing the rule of law. That is pretty American, and it’s sad that so many people have a problem with law and order.
- SomeOldThrow 7y agoRich, given how the land was acquired. Law and order.... when it’s convenient. In this case, so long as the law protects the profits of colonizers. I recommend the book “settlers” by J Sakai. Or you could stick your head back up your ass.
